Session average refers to the mean duration of individual average screen time sessions over a selected period with the selected biggest time sinking, such as a day or week. You can use this site/app session average in one day or ever every week, then reset the data to keep fresh data insights. For the developer perspective, I believe you should use a hybrid model, 1.save data end of the day and 2.check your strain damage after every big screen time. Suppose, If you have three sessions of 1 hour, 2 hours, and 30 minutes, the average would be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. These can set your screen time limits and that refer your average screen time comparison.
